About TRAMP, TUMBLE and TEAMGYM
Love being upside down? Trampoline, Tumbling & TeamGym gives athletes the opportunity to develop dynamic gymnastics skills in programs focused on power, aerial awareness, teamwork and performance. From learning tumbling and trampoline skills to performing routines as part of a team, these programs offer an exciting alternative to traditional artistic gymnastics.
Participants develop strength, coordination, flexibility, confidence and body control while progressing through skills in a structured and supportive environment.
Who is TRAMP, TUMBLE and TEAMGYM for?
Perfect for gymnasts who want to explore a specialised pathway and discover where their individual strengths can take them. These programs cater to a range of abilities and ambitions, whether participating for enjoyment, working towards personal milestones, or pursuing opportunities at events and competitions. Performing alongside teammates also creates a shared experience, taking the pressure off performing alone while building connection, trust and a strong sense of belonging.

Intermediate Tramp and Tumble
Intermediate Trampoline & Tumbling introduces athletes to the foundations of both disciplines while building safe and confident technique. Gymnasts work through FLIP Levels 1–3, developing essential trampoline and tumbling skills, body control and aerial awareness through progressive training. Athletes can also showcase their progress at selected competitions and events.

7 years to 15 years
Advanced Tramp and Tumble
Advanced Trampoline & Tumbling is for athletes ready to progress into more technical skills, combinations and routines across Levels 4–6. Training places greater emphasis on precision, power and consistency as gymnasts refine their technique and take on increasingly challenging progressions. Athletes can work towards higher-level grading achievements and selected competition opportunities.

7 years and up
TeamGym Performance Squad
TeamGym combines gymnastics, tumbling and performance into an exciting team environment. Athletes work together to develop floor routines and dynamic tumbling and trampoline skills while building strength, confidence, performance ability and teamwork. SCGA TeamGym athletes also have opportunities to participate in regional, state and national-level events depending on their level and qualification.
What will they LEARN?


Weekly Timetable
Trampoline, Tumbling and TeamGym operate as year-round SCGA programs, with regular weekly training continuing through most school holiday periods. Training pauses on nominated public holidays and during scheduled SCGA closures.
Active enrolment continues throughout the year, and fees are calculated monthly according to the scheduled training sessions available that month. Families wishing to discontinue an enrolment are required to provide 4 weeks' notice in accordance with SCGA's enrolment and fees policies.

Active enrolments continue throughout the year unless notice is provided in accordance with SCGA's enrolment policy. Class fees are calculated based on scheduled training and charged monthly. Annual registration is charged separately and includes applicable athlete registration and insurance.

WHAT TO WEAR/BRING
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Wear comfortable, fitted activewear that allows you to move freely. Leotards are welcome but aren't required for Tramp, Tumble and Team classes; however, if your child is planning on attending competitions and events, uniforms are required. Avoid clothing with zips, buckles or anything that may catch on equipment.
Gymnastics classes are generally completed barefoot. Shoes should be worn when arriving and leaving the gym for safety.
Bring a labelled water bottle and any personal items required for your class. Longer training sessions may also require a snack or meal.
Long hair should be securely tied back and jewellery removed before entering the gym for everyone's safety
Does my child need gymnastics experience? Not at all! Many of our programs cater for complete beginners, and our coaches will help each gymnast progress at a level appropriate to their ability. Can we try a class before joining? Yes! A trial is a great way to experience SCGA, meet our coaches and make sure you've found the right program. How do I know which class is right for my child? Our team can help. Tell us your child's age, previous experience and interests, and we'll recommend the most suitable program and level. Can my child change classes as they progress? Yes. Our coaches continually monitor each gymnast's development and can recommend progression into another class or program when they're ready. Can parents watch classes? Parent participation and viewing arrangements vary depending on the program and age group. Our team can let you know what applies to your child's class. Do classes run during school holidays? Our recreational, specialty and competitive programs operate throughout most of the year. Check your program's Weekly Timetable section for details. What happens if we miss a class? Missed-class and make-up arrangements are subject to SCGA's current enrolment and attendance policies. Contact our team if you're unsure what applies to your enrolment. How are fees charged? Fees are based on your child's program and training schedule and are billed monthly according to SCGA's current fee and billing structure.
