FEES AND BILLING POLICY

2026 Annual Registration Fees
All SCGA members pay an annual registration fee when enrolling. This non-refundable fee includes registration with Gymnastics Australia and applicable insurance coverage, with the amount determined by the program attended.

Registration also provides access to applicable SCGA member benefits, including a 5% discount on birthday parties, a $5 discount on full-day KidzBreak bookings and eligible family discounts on class fees. The registration fee for year-round programs also includes a 2026 SCGA merchandise pack and insurance for sanctioned external events.
How Class Fees Work
Monthly Instalments:
SCGA calculates monthly tuition according to the number of scheduled lessons for your class in that month. Your payment may vary from month to month depending on whether your class has two, three, four or five lessons, and monthly instalments are due on the 1st of each month. Families joining partway through a month are charged a pro-rata amount.
Kindergym: Classes operate during school terms, with fees based on 40 scheduled training weeks in 2026. Families must re-enrol each year to secure their place.
All Other Programs: Regular classes operate year-round, with fees based on 50 scheduled training weeks in 2026, excluding public holidays and nominated gym closures. Enrolments and monthly payments automatically continue into the following year unless cancelled in accordance with SCGA’s withdrawal requirements.

Casual Classes:
Casual bookings are available for Kindergym, GFA and FreeG classes, subject to availability. Each lesson must be booked in advance and paid for by the start of the session; an annual registration fee becomes payable once casual attendance exceeds four weeks within the calendar year.
Payment Options
Convenient Ways to Pay:
SCGA accepts payments through saved card details, direct debit, online payments, payments over the phone or at reception, and eligible vouchers or account credits. For accounts enrolled in more than one lesson, card or bank details are required on file and authorised monthly payments are processed on the 1st.​
If you need to use a different payment method or have a question about your statement, please contact reception before the 1st of the month, prior to your scheduled payment being processed.
Payment Processing Fees
The Billing Policy lists the following transaction charges:

Family Discounts

Family discounts apply to eligible class enrolments, excluding casual bookings and Nappy Chasers classes. Private lessons are also excluded from the family discount benefit listed in the registration fee schedule.
Active Kids &
Creative Kids Vouchers
Eligible vouchers can be submitted to SCGA administration and applied as a credit to your account before the invoice due date. Voucher use is subject to the policy’s conditions, including a minimum of five booked sessions; voucher credits are non-refundable.
Competitions, Events & Other Activities
Monthly tuition covers your enrolled classes only. Competitions, additional programs, events and KidzBreak Holiday Clinics are charged separately, and payments for items such as competition entries and SCGA Shop purchases require separate authorisation.
Overdue Payments
We understand that circumstances can change, and we encourage families to contact our team before a payment is due if they need assistance.
Under the 2026 Fees Policy, accounts that remain unpaid incur a $25 administration fee after seven days and a further $25 late fee after 14 days. Continued non-payment may result in training being suspended, enrolment cancellation and debt recovery action, with associated costs passed on to the member.
Payment plans may be arranged with SCGA Management and should be discussed before fees are due.
Absences, Refunds & Withdrawals
Confirmed class fees are generally non-refundable for missed sessions, family holidays and other absences. Make -up lessons can be arranged for missed classes. Medical exemptions may be considered where sufficient supporting evidence is provided within 30 days of the missed session; additional provisions apply to illness or injury lasting more than two weeks.
If SCGA cancels a class, we will endeavour to offer a make-up session. Where this is not possible, a pro-rata credit will be applied to the member’s account rather than a refund.
Families wishing to withdraw from an ongoing program must provide 28 days’ written notice through the Parent Portal or by emailing administration. No cancellation fee applies when the required notice is given; withdrawing without sufficient notice incurs a full month’s cancellation fee, and any outstanding fees must be settled.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Why is my monthly payment different each month?
Your tuition is based on the number of scheduled lessons in that particular month. Months with more class dates will have a higher total than months with fewer class dates.
Do I pay for school holidays?
Kindergym tuition is calculated around its school-term schedule. Other regular programs operate year-round, including scheduled school holiday training, with nominated closures excluded from the fee calculation.
Will my enrolment continue next year?
Kindergym families need to re-enrol annually. All other regular program enrolments automatically roll over unless cancelled in accordance with the withdrawal policy.
Are competitions and holiday clinics included in tuition?
No. Competitions, events, KidzBreak and other additional activities incur separate fees.
